Working with Playlists
A playlist is a clip that plays a list of tracks instead of a single audio file — useful for music beds, walk-in/walk-out music, or any spot where you want a long run of tracks without building individual clips for each one.
Opening the Playlist Panel
Section titled “Opening the Playlist Panel”Open the Playlist Panel from Menu → View → Show Playlist Panel, or the Playlist toggle button in the header bar.
Creating a Playlist
Section titled “Creating a Playlist”Click + New Playlist in the panel, then:
- Rename it with the name field and Rename button.
- Add Tracks to pick audio files (mp3, wav, ogg, flac, m4a, aac, wma).
- Remove a track with its Remove track button.
- Set a Color for the playlist’s clip button.
Playback Settings
Section titled “Playback Settings”- Mode — Sequential plays tracks in list order; Random shuffles the order each time the playlist starts or wraps around.
- Replay — what a second press does while the playlist is already playing: Stop stops it, Skip jumps to the next track.
- Crossfade — overlap time between tracks, in seconds.
Assigning a Playlist to a Clip
Section titled “Assigning a Playlist to a Clip”Right-click a clip button and choose Playlist assignment from the context menu, then pick the playlist. The clip button then plays that playlist like any other clip — trigger to start, trigger again per the Replay setting to stop or skip.
On Stream Deck
Section titled “On Stream Deck”A playing playlist button behaves like any other clip on the deck, with one difference: hold it for 1 second or more to stop the playlist rather than triggering play/stop. See Stream Deck Integration. Playlists can’t be placed on the deck’s corner navigation slots.
