How to License Nipper

Nipper requires a license for save and export operations.

Menu → License → Manage License

License Manager opens.

Non-blocking online verification occurs at application startup.
Status appears in bottom right status bar:

  • Licensed (green) — Active license detected
  • Unlicensed (red) — No license or license inactive

When you purchase Nipper through Lemon Squeezy (our payment vendor), you’ll receive your license details via email. Licensing is handled through licensing.fetchmedia.tools.

To activate:

Open the License Manager (Menu → License → Manage License) and follow the on-screen prompts. You’ll typically need your license key and the email address you used for purchase.

Online verification is required for activation. If you don’t receive your license details after purchase, or encounter any issues, contact us at https://fetchmedia.tools/contacts.

Bottom status bar shows current state:

  • ✓ Licensed — All features available
  • ⚠ Unlicensed — Save and export features disabled

Offline activation options available for air-gapped systems.

License not detected after purchase:

  • Check internet connectivity
  • Verify email address matches purchase
  • Allow 10-15 minutes for activation server sync
  • Contact support if problem persists

License verification fails:

  • Firewall may block verification traffic
  • Check proxy settings if behind corporate network
  • License remains valid; verification becomes non-blocking after first success
